Why I am running
I am running for Sheriff because Clare County is my home, and I deeply value the small-town feeling that makes our community unique. Having worked several agencies including the Sheriff’s Office, I have seen firsthand the dedication it takes to serve and protect our residents. My goal is to provide the best possible service to make Clare County a safer place to live and work. I have a strong desire to serve, protect, and bring fresh perspectives that address the modern challenges our community faces. I believe in the importance of generational change where it is needed, ensuring our law enforcement evolves with the times. At the same time, I am committed to preserving the historical role of the Sheriff as a powerful, elected official, consistent with American democratic traditions. I want to foster trust, transparency, and strong relationships between law enforcement and the people we serve.
Ultimately, I am running to ensure Clare County remains a place where safety, fairness, and community values guide every decision.
